/ Repertoires

Preliminary Round: One opera aria of your own choice.

Second Round: One opera aria of your own choice.
-
Final Round: Two opera arias (Oratorio and Cantata) of your own choice, one of which must be written by the Italian bel canto era composer such as Bellini, Donizetti or Rossini. The pieces should be different from the previous round.

/ Eligibility

We welcome participants from all over the world to participate in our Bellini International Music Competition
-
Age from 16 to 45 years old
-
Applicants of each category will be placed in the appropriate age group(s) based on the number of participants.

/ Competitions
​

Preliminary Round will be the top 30 according to the sum of judges' scores to enter the semi-finals,
-
Second Round will be the top 12 according to the sum of judges' scores to enter the final,
-
Final Round will be the sum of the judges' scores to determine all the rankings.
-
The decision of the jury is final and cannot be appealed.
-
Decision of the judges are irrevocable and final.
/ Video Requirements

Forward an unedited video public link of the performance to our committee. Failure to provide a working link will lead to disqualification. Videos edited in any ways to alter the performance will not be accepted.
-
Please include the name of the participant, and name of the piece at the beginning of the video.
-
Make sure that the video is set to public. Private links will not be accepted. Submission of un-openable links will be disqualified. Please do not submit files from cloud drive or any files that require downloading. We do not open any files that require downloading.
-
The video must clearly show the face and hands of the performer.
-
Professional quality recording is not mandatory. However, the sound must be clearly audible.

Judges
The judges of Italy Bellini International Music Competition all have a long history in music performance. Each judges performances at our competition fairly and applies the same criteria to every participant that comes onto the stage. The experience and dedication of our judges have toward music means, their critiques help modelling our young competitors to help them better understand what to improve on in their music.

The Rules
-
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to refuse and accept any application received.
-
In any case, the judgment of the Jury Board will be the final and no inquiry will be responded to.
-
The Organizing Committee shall have the sole right to interpret the Rules and Regulations. The decision will be final and legally binding.
-
If any contestant or winner fails to fulfil or abide his or her promises by the Rules and Regulations of the competition, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to disqualify him or her as a participant or winner, and the person will be required to leave the Contest immediately and voluntarily. The Organizing Committee will have full and appropriate adjustment for it.

During the competition, the Organizing Committee shall not be liable for any money, valuables matter of lost by the participants.

During the competition, the Organizing Committee shall not be responsible for any accidents that occur outside the competition.
-
If a contestant is disqualified or considered applies for a waiver in the final competition, the Organizing Committee has the right to refuse or replace the selection of another contestant.

During the competition, the Organizing Committee has the right to accept or reject or cancel the qualification of contestant or waiver the application, and no one shall object.
-
Contestants must compete at the time scheduled by the Organizing Committee. Latecomers will have the opportunity to be disqualified from the competition.
